About the Artist:
Chico was born in Manila, Philippines. He was 10 years old when his family migrated to Alabama, USA. After 2 years at the University
of Alabama where he had earned a freshman Art scholarship, he became interested in Duchamp, Koons, and Minimalism. He moved to New York City to finish his Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art at Hunter College. His fine arts background and work experiences have helped him explore varied subject matters in different mediums. Informational/ Instructional graphics, Graphic/Branding/Pattern design, Computer Languages and Human Anatomy are some of the subject matter that his work explores.
